Overview
Winterfeldtplatz (in the Schöneberg / Nollendorfplatz area) hosts one of Berlin’s best-known weekly markets — commonly called the Winterfeldtmarkt. It’s a lively, sociable square market where long rows of stalls sell high-quality fruit & vegetables, flowers, cheeses and deli items, plus clothing, household goods, artisanal products and prepared food. When & how busy
The market runs Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the Saturday market being the bigger draw (arrive early for the best selection). On Saturdays it can be very busy from mid-morning to early afternoon — locals, foodies and tourists all come to buy produce, brunch or to people-watch. Many vendors begin packing up in the late afternoon.
